lol I made a last minute bet on Colorado to win. I think they are winning right now. 3-1? Ugh I can't believe Calgary just steamrolled the ducks, I will never bet on the ducks again.

I am looking into it and feeling like STL, LA and Maybe Minnesota or Tampa Bay. But for sure STL and LA.
TB is gonna be a gamble if Stamkos can break out but then that asshole Luongo is in so its a game changer.

Boston and Phoenix are on a hot streak, I don't know if I even want to touch that, I'll throw one of them in an IF bet lol.

hey guys can anyone tell me how this works:

Live Spread (sharks -1.5)
Then you have 2 options to bet on
Capitals +1.5 or San Jose -1.5

I dont understand what the (sharks -1.5) beside the live spread means.

Like i get the general idea of spread point betting but wtf is this shit?

well you think sharks will win by a gap of 2 goals ? impossible now so that bet doesnt exist, if it did ... And capitals you would only need to win, or lose by 1 single goal at most (puck line)

it was a real bet, on live bet mode. anyway, how come they put that -1.5 for the sharks on the title of the bet, then again beside the sharks option.

well you have +1.5 for one team and -1.5 for the other... However they usually will offer additional puck lines and you can find the opposite team with +1.5 instead of -1.5 but the line is going to be really heavy. Check tomorrows lines if they are available with additional puck lines and you will see wha ti mean

there is -1, +1, -2.5... etc etc, its actually quite simple.. I personally dont like playing it.

-1.5 means the odds will pay out a lot because you dont just think the team will win, you think they will win by at least 2 goals, otherwise you lose the bet! Its much tougher to win this so you gotta be certain this team will beat the shit out of the other one but you will get a nice juicy line, like on the boston games!

+1.5 means you would rather back the underdog but rather than making good money with the moneyline you are slightly scared they could lose to. So +1.5 is actually better than just straight up placing a straight wager on the underdog team you think you will win. You dont win as much but you get a +100 or over line and the reason you pick it is because you WIN if the underdog team you picked wins or, you only have to lose the game by 1 goal. So even if your team loses you still win as long as the other team doesn't win by more than 1 goal. It's that simple.

everyone was betting san jose the day before and live during the game. No one was listening to me, I called washington early the night before the game before knowing goalies lolol. I didn't live bet though :S

Look, you're overlooking something -it is very simple... You see how sharks were always favored to win? Ridiculous numbers, sharks are favored when they have that -1.5 puck line (live spread) that's why you will win absolutely no money with the -1242 moneyline, but if you are confident enough that sharks will end the game with more than 1 goal, they have to win 4-2 or 3-1 or 6-4 or something like that then you get a little + money with -1.5.

If you took capitals +1.5, much easier chance of winning, capitals either win, which I told you they would or they lose but don't lose by more than 1 goal, which you would have won with this bet because it went to shootout! That's why they don't give you a good line (-182) because you have a few options to win that bet.

Even if you google this, no one will explain it better than I just did, it's that simple. Where it say's 'Live Spread (Sharks -1.5)' ignore that, they just wanna confuse you who is the favored. Imagine it just says 'Live Spread' instead.
