Unlike the bottom 5 in the East (11+ points out of a spot), I don't really think you can eliminate the Kings or Blues yet. While neither is likely to make the playoffs, St. Louis is only 4 points out and the Kings are only 5 out. A 4 or 5 point hole is not insurmountable with 17 games left.

Last year was Biron's first in the playoffs. And he was mediocre at best. Out of the East playoff contenders Philly and Washington have the worst goaltending.

watch out for Penguins and in the west the darkhorse that is quietly playing very well from Sundin to Burrows, young fast team and the best Goalie in the world can't be overlooked.

That would be Vancouver. Can't rule them out. Luongo has been playing very well and they have talent.

East-If you think the Caps and Flyers are going ANYWHERE with there goaltending then boy i want what you are smoking!! Biron STINKS and Nitty is way way to unstable... Caps Thedore unless the caps plan on scoring 5 goals a night he is going to give up at least 2 maybe 3 a night. Alexander the Great will have to score a record number of goals in the playoffs for them to see the conference finals and then that is stretching it!!

Bruins and Devils are heads above the above 2 teams and I think the Devils are the more balanced and experienced of the 2.

West- Then the f...in Flames as a lock...are you SERIOUS? yes they made good moves at the deadline but that Western division is wide open I still think RedWings come out of there... Sharks are not great you could get a REAL surprise in that division if a team gets hot come playoff time.

nittymaki sucks i hate him..biron is somewhat stable BUT when hes under pressure hes amazing....all of you shall see either the caps or flyguys make it to the cup finals...and yes i do watch and play hockey since i was 5 yrs old ppl....o and goaltending is not an afterthought...goaltending is what wins games ever hear of defense wins games? you ppl sound sooo retarted i cant do nothing but post back and chuckle as i shake my head.....

also there is no point to arguing anymore....imma focus on tonights games...time will tell what happens in play offs.....we have about 16 games left to go.....good luck all
