Reasoning for not many AHL picks so far this season in this thread is because there hasnt been enough games played yet to get a feel for the teams, and rosters should be settling down now for what they will be. Teams have only played 2-4 games or so, so far.

NHL tonight
San Jose ML
Montreal ML - Colorado to start 3rd string goalie due to injuries. Bad start to the season as is for the Avalanche.
Vancouver ML - Due to the line being pretty juicy, hard not to take them, but maybe a little bias being a Canucks fan, but I'm realistic and not afraid of saying the team just isnt as good as others in the West. Note backup Eddie Lack to start.
Pittsburgh ML - Ahh NYI have had Pittsburghs number many times in the past, improved team as well.. May come back to bite me here.
Other plays but wont be straight up are
Boston ML
Chicago ML
Washington ML

Overall a good night. Need to put less weight on the Canucks given I am a fan, if it was any other team starting their backup I would be more wary, but I thought Lack and the team could get it done.

I like them. Apparently the flu is going through the blues locker room. They should beat the Canucks at home, though. Canucks were a mess against the Stars on Tuesday..
Calgary has shown some promise early in the season. They should get by the Hurricanes, who are awful.
Blackhawks game is a tossup IMO. Kings and Sharks should dominate at home.
