What happen to the empty goals in ice hockey?

Is it me or are team not pulling their goalie until its 5 seconds left of the game?

Needed the blues to score 1 more to hit the over 2.5.

It just seems to be a big drop of empty goals.....

I've noticed this as well empty net goals haven't "cashed in"

Since they brought in the rule that you can't change players after an icing call, teams are more reluctant to just blindly fire it down the ice if they know the other team will dump 5 fresh bodies over the boards while they're out there tired.
