    Sharks ML -270
    Sup fellas...very new to hockey betting...and hockey in general.

    I'm from San Jose and am going to my first game tonight. I don't want to bet the o/u but wanted to bet the sharks tonight. I know it's a huge moneyline...but how much better is San Jose than the Oilers? How for sure of a thing is a SJ win tonight?

              If you want to bet the Sharks, take them to win in regulation or by 1.5 goals or something imo. Laying 270 to win 100 is too much in the NHL. Any team can come out and shit the bed on any given night.

                  I'm on Sharks -1.5 but I'm on a big losing streak so I guess I'd suggest not taking -1.5 haha

                                  haha, saw this thread and bet on it as well. When I bet a hockey favorite, instead of doing the ML I usually do the -1.5. Seems like you get better value especially if you're confident.
