Canada plays Germany tomorrow morning... Someone please convince me why I shouldn't pound Germany +6 hard.

The Canadian team is not really a high scoring make up this year, and I do realize Germany is not great but can you really see a 7 goal deficit here? 7-0 game? 8-1?

I have a bad feeling about this for some reason, Canada for sure wins but I don't see how they win by that much. I can't find the results of Germany's pre competition games anywhere online ether.

Someone slap some sense into me before I drop 1k on this and cry tomorrow morning when the games over.

Russia beat Germany 4-1 in the only result I could find for pre-tourney. I'd have a hard time ever 'pounding' Germany here but I don't disagree with your line of thought about the matchup.

Thanks for the input and link. Also the total is listed at 8.5 with the under being a slight favorite right now. If the under does hit, then 7/8 goals would have to be Canadian goals for the side to lose.

Last year Canada had a stacked team (despite not even getting a medal) and even then they only beat them 9-3 which would be a push. Might take your advice though and not go overboard on the bet. Canada is always capable of going off on a bad team like this I guess.

Just woke up to a 7-2 Canada Final... Jussssst made it. Good job Germany!!! Surprised it was even that close to be honest but glad it hit all the same.
