What the most important thing to hockey betting?
I lost a ton last season and haven't bet anything but futures and season props since

Daily grind is too much of a shtshow in hockey. Anyone can win, max line is +250

Goalies are the most important piece of a hockey team, right? Even when I watch hockey all i watch is the goalie.

Obviously still can't get it right. There's just too many random penalties and stoppages to get any sort of run going. Help me out

Grind,Grind,Grind.... Wait for that 1 huge play. Trust me it's all phycological. U can win easy, but u seem to make it hard. Here's there problem, you see 12 games u wanna bet them all so u try to cap them all. It takes to much out of u mentally. I literally spend a min or 2 mins tops on each game. Sit back wager 1-2 games, then watch some scores. See who's hot, see who might be turning the corner.

I take travelling and amount of games played recently into factor

Also look for east vs west matchups. Some teams have inflated records because they play in poor divisions.

Also look for revenge factors, team histories, rivalries etc

I guess it all depends why you bet too. I mean, we all bet to win money of course, but for me the money at least at this point isn't significant enough to impact my financial situation. The main reason I like betting is because it gives me a vested interest in following the league to a deeper level than I would as just a casual fan.

It's for that reason that I put a bet on each game each night (and post them in my thread here). If there are games I think are good spots, I'll put a little extra on them or throw them in a parlay. I find betting all the games each night though helps me to have a better idea of general trends, how teams have been doing, what players are performing well etc.

At the end of the day though, I just enjoy watching hockey, and I find having a bit of money on the line makes it that much more enjoyable.

Ignore all the nonsense above. The key to beating the NHL is simple. Follow fenwick close %, team shooting %, team save %, and pdo. This will tell you what teams are under/overvalued and why. Incorporate that into the everyday stuff like starting goalies, injuries, team confidence levels, etc.

This sport is easy money if you're using advanced stats. Sportsbooks don't have a clue what's going on...yet.
