    THE Original Gangster Degenerate's (late) NHL Thread 2013-2014
    The Original Gangster (OG) Degenerate is back. New to the SBR forum, but I've been around the block and my system is still on point. I've got a very unique system for the NHL, borrowing some techniques I've learned from colleagues/ contacts in Vegas and from my disgusting love of hockey and statistics.

    Feel free to tail, or not! Let me know what you think!

    December 16th, 2013/// PICKS
    • Columbus BJ's: ML (-116)
    • Colorado Avs: ML (-140) FUN FACT: btw, it's Trophy Night in Denver, Stanley Cup in the Pepsi Center, I expect a sell out crowd, big game for Avs.
    • Winnipeg/Columbus: u5 goals (+132) --> (this is only a 1* play, but still confident)

    Also, slight leans on the o5.5 goals in Ottawa/STL, and Pittsburgh PL -1.5 (+188)

    Cheers and BOL to you all.

    I agree with you on all except for the Pitt PL. From what I've been reading today, Pens injuries might be a factor in a possible upset and Tor has been playing well over last few games. It might work out though, and you'll be a genius if it does! I was going to go with the Pens in reg. (-105) but unsure as Malkin is very questionable. BUT Pens have been tearing it up lately.

    I was thinking of Winn/Col. on the Under too, but I just don't know enough about these 2 teams. I played a couple Unders involving Columbus earlier in the season and they both hit. But they've been scoring more in last 3 games.

      I agree with you on the Penguins PL. It is definitely my stretch pick of the day! I think that with the Malkin injury, if/when he is sidelined, Sidney is going to step up even more than he has been lately, (which has been damn good hockey.)

      I do really like the Winn/Columbus matchup though. I believe both of those teams are the kind to play up to better talent, and play down to worse teams. Hoping for a boring one! Considering the last couple have been really fast paced.
