Actually its quite interesting, My brother and me was talking about this just before this incident happen.
That they needed more fighters fitting into the system. BTW John Scott can't skate he's just a 1:1 goon fighter.

george laraque would be good if he was still playing -10 years as well.

Yes, lets be objective, that should probably be 2-3 games suspension for sure.

But this is not even in the same Severity as Thornton. I would seriously consider banning him from the league.
Set an example of him, the league will not accept this assault. I would also have assault charges for a trial on him.

On the street this would be assault, leading to prison or harsh consequences.

Both plays were dirty. But kneeing someone in the head skating at full speed who's on all fours is a cheaper shot than dragging down and hitting someone who's involved in a scrum.

Thornton should miss the rest of the season. As far as Neal he will likely be getting a long suspension as well as he is the reason all this happened. It was a clear cheap shot.

This Orpik guy is no Saint. Ask Eric Cole...In March of 2009, Orpik broke Coles neck with a vicious boarding ckeck from behind..Cole was having a great season and Orpik ended it with that ck...I do not recall what his penalty was...Thronton should be suspended as well as Neal...If Orpik had not run from Throntons fight challenge it would have been settled then..
