2013-2014 NHL Thread

Going to try posting and tracking some plays here. Been having a below par season so far, so I decided I would start new. Going to use this thread to keep myself honest and modest and hopefully take any advice I can get along the way.

Using 5Dimes now after switching from pinnacle. Picks could come from either.

To start:

Toronto Maple Leafs +135* vs Minnesota Wild
Toronto Maple Leafs/Minnesota Wild Under 5 +105*
Dallas Stars/Edmonton Oilers Over 5½ -110*

I was wondering why the ML for both teams is -105. Oilers haven't done too well at home, goal scoring wise.

I'm not too sure considering Dallas has put up a few road wins recently over Boston, Ottawa, and Detroit. Would have had Dallas as being a slight favorite considering both team's play as of late. Lots of odd lines today it seems though.

Sticking with my boys in blue however and hoping Toronto's lack of goal scoring combined with tight goaltending keeps this one under 5. Can still see Toronto squeak this one out if they have some good PP opportunities and I feel like their top line can take Minnesota's any day. This game could come down to the third and fourth lines though. Looking for Toronto to lock down there and try to stay out of the box.

If it wasn't for that 2u play on EDM it would have been a lot worse, but losses happen. Going to look closely at all of the games for tomorrow and hopefully find some solid value to get back into the green. Hope everyone else had a solid night.
