Three guy averaging a goal per game or slightly less almost 1/5 into the season. I can't recall a trio starting this. Maybe 20+ years ago. How many do you think each player finishes with (barring injury)? Looks like there's a great chance at seeing 70 for the first time in 20 years.
Ovechkin - Playing for a great offensive mind likes Oates has done wonders for him. I think he has the best shot at 70 although i'd peg him for 65-69. Probably his best shot at 70.
Stamkos - Scoring machine. If the slight reduction in goalie pad size would help anyone it would help him given his ability to make the most of any advantage. I expect 63-68 from him, but 70+ would not surprise me.
Steen - Incredible and rapid evolution from him. Never scored more than mid 20's although likely would have had 30 in a season where he missed a stretch. Seems like he should net 50. Considering past performance his pace should slow down considerably. I'd bet on 40-45. Very nice shot for 50. 60+ would astounding.
