    New to hockey betting....tips?
I've got football and basketball down....getting a good feel on baseball....but hockey is just one giant clusterfukk for me. I can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn with my picks on NHL. Any solid advice or strategy is greatly appreciated.

anyone have any good advice? I did a "for the hell of it" 7 team parlay and a 6 team moneyline only parlay last night just going with my gut for the steep wager of $1 and $1.80 .....we will see how it pans out. Anaheim already hit last night on the 6 teamer

Again, these picks are just for fun. I'm simply looking for the best general strategy when evaluating NHL

Ya I'd have to agree with the first two comments. Nothing more than a 2 team parlay when betting hockey. Also, consider doing Regulation Only (60 mins) as compared to ML for big favorites. You might get screwed when a game goes to OT but once it gets to OT, even worse, a shootout it's anyone's game. You don't wanna be sweating out a -200 favorite in a shootout that could go either way, just accept the loss in 60 mins and move on. Starting goalies is another huge thing to consider when betting hockey. I use leftwinglock.com to give me confirmation on who's in and who's out. My best advice for betting hockey would be to follow it on a nightly basis. Players go day-to-day quite often so you gotta be on top of that as well.

Like I said the draw might screw you here and there but long term betting you'll notice taking big favorites to win in regulation will be beneficial. Just pick your spots accordingly and if it happens to go to OT just accept your loss and carry on. My best advice would be no matter how confident you feel about a single play, don't push all in EVER. It's a very long season and to be successful in betting Hockey you must always live to see another day.

                    Good luck going forward
