I am a hockey fan don't get me wrong...but the season is just too damn long. Feels like it just finished like a month ago and now we are talking preseason. They should cut the reg season down a bit so the playoffs don't stretch too far into summer.

the NBA season is the same way though hulu.

i agree on pucks being way to long of a season. although, i only bet pucks til the all-star break and thats it. after the all-star break the lines get sharper, and the games become a little more meaningful for me to risk my money on.

You are right about the NBA. I guess it doesn't bother me because I don't follow it as closely and its not played on ice. A sport played on ice when its +100 degrees outside just seems out of place.

I know you don't bet past the all star break in bases also. Do you do this with every sport?
