NHL Plays (10/16/13)

Hello. I've been fooling around in excel with stats trying to figure out a good prediction tool. First night it went 2-1. I figured I'd post picks to keep track here and get your input on variables to use. I'm new to NHL handicapping but I've been pretty good at NFL and NCAAF for past couple years.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

NHL pick for 10/16/13 are:

(system had washington and NYR game pretty much even...might ML the rangers to get a little silly (disclaimer...i'm from NY so i'm bias haha)

Rangers won! and Anahiem is up 2-0 so far. Looks like a good night. I have picks for tomorrow I'll start a new thread called "NHL (10/17/13).

Looks like we had another nice night ending up either 8-1 (+7 units) or 7-2 (+4.45 units) depending whether or not San Jose wins. I will post my picks for tomorrow in new thread "NHL Plays 10/18/13"
