Phoenix Coyotes at Detroit Red Wings
Red Wings -1.5
+175 at Bovada (your book may vary)
The Wings are historically pretty strong against Phoenix, and they're on home ice for what it's worth.
Phoenix is 1-2 on the season. Detroit is 2-1. Phoenix is -5 goals on the season, and has only scored once in each of its past two games.
Most importantly: the Red Wings are coming off an embarrassing loss to Boston on Saturday. Historically, the Red Wings play very well immediately after a tough loss. They have a ton of talent and one of the best coaches in the league. They usually get routed because of their work ethic, not their talent, and they tend to rebound hard after routs.
Anything can happen, but I think the play is much better than the +175 it's getting in my book.
Edit: Maybe Bovada is just a shitty book because it looks like it's on pinnacle and Bet365 for about +275, which I think is absolutely good value.
