Tough Luck yesterday going 1-2 to bring the season total to 7-4!

Lots of action today
CLB @ BUF - I got buffalo they need a win and should be able to pull out a W at home

COL @ BOS - The av's are a good young team, but i think boston might be a bit too much at home

FLA @ TB - I think the Tampa scorers finally light the net with Thomas not playing and Tampa gets a needed 2 points

PHX @ DET - The wings are gonna be hungry for a win after a embarrassing loss to boston last game, Howard is 16-4 all time against PHX

WPG @ MIN - Minny has to turn it around and i think home ice will help might be a overtime game, but the Wild should get the W

MON @ EDM - Should be a high paced game, i think it comes down to goalies and Price needs to have a good showing and should hold his own, Montreal gets it done in Edmonton

SJ @ VAN - I know SJ has had the Canucks number lately but i think Vancouver gets up for this game and pulls a win at home

Alright picks for friday oct 11th

LA @ CAR - I know alot has been made with stats and back to back games, i just feel the Kings are too good a team, and Carolina played their hearts out against the Capitals last night so im gonna gamble and say they are tired and the Kings fresh legs and depth is too much. Kings by 1

NYI @ CHI - Tough game i like the way the Isles have skated and played this year and im not impressed with Crawford, tough game to call but i see it being grind it out hockey so im gonna go with Under 5.5

PHX @ PHI - Another tough game, i think the coyotes are a better team but my gut is telling me that Philly needs to put a few solid games together after the coaching change, and coming off back to back games especially in Det and now Philly that being said i think its tough lets hope Philly burns and crashes

NJ @ CAL - Ive been burned so far by the play of Calgary that being said i like to think you have to give the season a few weeks to get a handle on whats really up with teams, i do think the Flames will be better then what people expected but i think Jersey goes in their tonight and wins a ugly game on the road.and has a strong goaltending performance

DAL @ WPG - Im going with the Jets they lost a disappointing loss yesterday and will look to right the ship tonight at home where they usually play pretty well

NYR @ WAS Over 5.5 - Both teams havent really been playing "great" hockey but both have firepower and the Caps have shown they can put 5-6 goals up in a night, im leaning over in this game

Friday Oct 18th Picks

Coyotes @ Ducks - Under 5.5 - Should be a tough defensive game, Coyotes are a solid team but i think home ice holds up and the defensive game of the Ducks keep it to a low scoring win

Blues @ Jets - Jets need to turn it around and the Blues played a long, tough road game against the champs, look for the Jets to steal one at home in front of a loud crowd

NYR @ NJ - Both teams are big under achievers so far, but i gotta think Jersey gets their first win of the season tonight at home

BOS @ TB - Too much depth for tampa to deal with

TOR @ CHI - Toronto boy cant root against my boys on the road on a Saturday night... thats just uncanadian! As far as the game i think its the Hawks game to lose especially with the way Toronto has been turning the puck over lately, that said at +175 ML for the Leafs, being a leaf fan, even with the turnovers they somehow get it done one way or another, if JVR is back look for a OT win here!

COL @ WAS - i realize alot of people are all over the Jackets, but i like the Caps at home i think they put up a solid effort tonight and win one for the home crowd in a high scoring game

CAL @ SJ - OVER 5.5 Flames are a surprise so far and the Sharks haven shown why they have been a force for so long in the regular season

DET @ PHX - The wings have had some battles the past few nights against some good teams, i think they will be tired making the trip to Arizona and the Coyotes steal one in the desert tonight

Tuesdays NHL Picks:

VAN @ NYI - Van needs to get back on track and the Isles have been struggling lately

EDM @ MTL - Habs are missing some players, i think the Oilers will build off their win in ottawa and win another on the road

ANA @ TOR - JVR returns tonight and i think the Leafs finally play a decent game with minimal turnovers and end the Ducks streak in Toronto

NAS @ MIN - UNDER 5.5 Wild have been inconsistent and both teams haven't really shown they can score consistently

I like your plays, Im going to be on Ducks and Flames/Stars Over personally. I think the price for Kings is not great actually and prefer yotes for the price. Think philly will get a close win tonight at home too.
