the favorites often pay +150 and ill take my chances on a favorite puckline 1st period at +money over paying juice on them to win the game...

Toronto played a tough game and are on there 2nd day of travel (I know they are not far distances but even if they left right after the game last night still probably not in philly till 1ish) At the very least Philly should come out looking to prove they were better then last season....If they dont win the game they should at least be up in the first (I think over 1.5 is a pretty good play here but ill stick with +170)

Detroit is playing one of the weaker teams in the East, at home and are looking to set the tone and show people they will be a force in the east this season...The Joe should be rocking and the wings should come out hard! wouldnt be shocked to see them up 2 after the first....

They hung 4 on the defending cup champs, I am not even sure the Flames could beat last years AHL champs...Oates has these guys playing way more offensively and unless Ramo goes ape I dont think the Flames will be able to keep up...I see the Caps coming out hard after holtby gave the game away in Chicago...

Thomas only started I think 2 preseason games, he hasnt played an actual full tilt competitive game in over a year. The Stars have added a few weapon up front and even on the back end....While I do believe Florida is a bit underrated this season I will still take a chance on the Stars to come out ready to play at home!

This goes 1 of 3 ways San Jose comes out fast and gets in Luongos head, Vancouver comes out hard in an attempt to avenge last years sweep, or the goalies steal the show and I am SOL. The over has hit in 8/12 full games so ill take some +money on something that hass hit 75% of the time...

Nashville has done nothing to improve in the off season other then drafting Seth Jones, The blues continue to add talent and are a cup favorite for a reason, I dont think Nashville can compete with the speed, talent and physicality the Blues will bring tonight...NSH has allowed 18 goals in the last 5 games, Pekka Rinne better step up or this might get ugly.

I dont think I will be playing 4 games a night but I feel pretty good about these plays and I am off to a good start so may as well try to keep on rolling....

So the Favorite has covered the .5 spread 28 times this season the score has been tied 20 times and the Favorite has been losing 15 times after the first period.

after reviewing the average of ALL the +values the average would be +168.4 with the SBR odds from 5dimes

at this average had you bet on all of the 1p favorites you would be 28-35 +12.15u

and a average review of only the winners yields a +164.9 average for +11.17u

it actually is +1818 total on all the winners thus far.
