Nope if you watch a game with Chicago you can see the domination of Hossa. Their is no coincident that this player has been in a 4 Stanley cup finals the last 6 years.

Jets vs Oilers: Over 5.5. I'm expecting a high scoring game. Defense on Jets is worst then ever, Trouba and Postma not good enough.... Oilers D is Ok with ference, but still this game will go over. Lots of goals last night. I liked Toronto except a couple of misses defensively. I'm leaning towards them tonight. I know its back to back but its only the second game of the season. They will have the legs, leaning over 2.5 again....

Play 1: Toronto Over 2.5 TT Goals: Toronto has had the opening completed and will come out scoring some in this game too. Mason in Goalie for Philly which is a plus for Toronto. Philly's D-men looks OLD, Timmonen, and Streit. Some of the young players in Toronto will exploit this with their speed, Expecting Kadri to get one tonight as well.

Play 2: Detroit 1 (3-ways): Detroit will own this year at home. Sabres should lose this before end of regulation. Sabres has gotten worse and is in a rebuild mode. I don't expect this team to compete this year for a playoff spot.

2013-10-03:

Devils @ Penguins: Penguins -0.5: 0.5u
Penguins will probably have a couple of people on the injury list or play a bit injured, Neal, Letang (Out), Orpik. The most concern I have is Fleury. I really hope this guy gets a good start of the season. With the pressure of their superstar backup goalie in Vokoun injuries long term their is even more pressure on Fleury's shoulders.

Devils is a hard team and they have good players to replace the Russian guy that went home, oh and they lost a 3rd line player as well, don't remember his name.

One of my all time favorite players is M. Ryder, he is great!! Not sure about Brunner, he has great chemistry with Z in Detroit, so will see how it works out with Elias and Clowe. Devils second line with Zajac and Hendrique is very strong and will be able to play against Penguins first or second line as they choose.

Penguins has to play very disciplined against Devils, no penalties. More so then usual Score FIRST, don't rush things and make mistakes in forms of giveaways, not easy against the trap system. Ensure to get the puck deep and outwork devils.

That said Penguins has the two best players in the league and Malkin always is a BEAST against Devils. Schneider will be tested. I do see this game being something like 3 - 1 to Penguins.

Panthers @ Stars: Panthers Over 2.5 TT Goals: 1u
I'm looking at the panthers before regular time, their is some value. I think Panthers have made a couple of steps in the right direction, with the signing of Thomas, Boyles and Whitney they look good. I think that Matthias should play in first line with Fleichmann and Versteeg, but we will see. This team can score and will score this season. At 2.00 odds for over 2.5 I think Panthers is a good bet.

Flames @ Capitals: Capitals -0.5: 1u
With Gabrovski the Capitals they have two great 1-2 line punch. Mike Breen is starting to look like the Solid A star D-men capitals need, old form is coming back (Still early but he looked good in Chicago game), hopefully he can stay away from injuries.

This team will have no problems scoring on Calgary. Calgary has too many question marks, Ramo in Goal is untested and pure gamble. Newcomer Jones and O'Brien will not help Calgary. They are simple going to get at the end of the standing once this season is over.

The only scoring guy they have is Glencross and Cammalleri. That said the Washington's defensive play looked bad against Chicago. Holtby was questionable on the late goals given up. I still think that the capitals will win before end of regulation.

3 - 1 on the night, another good day. What was Capitals doing, Holtby had a meltdown. I'm uber happy that Fleury was having a great game for the shootout and that Penguins played really great. Jacque martin already has an effect as assistant coach to Penguins, you can see he's tactic in their gameplay.

I Like Islanders, their team is just getting better with age.

Not so sure about Detroit. Not impressive against Buffalo and I believe Carolina has a good team (at least they should be able to play with this roster)

Detroit with their new firepower (Alfredsson and Weiss) they should be able to wrack up a couple of goals, so If I had to play this game I would go with the Over 2.5 TT for Detroit. Ward is a question mark, but if Ward is Ward then 3 goal is a lot to expected. It would be the 3rd in open net. My angle would be after all the injuries + age he might be a bit rosty in the beginning.

All I say is that Alfredsson leaving Ottawa is probably for the better. He was a great leader for this team but its time to move on. I think Ottawa looks better on the paper this year plus they have gotten back players from injury. They have depth in the third and fourth line. Adding, MacArthur, Ryan and bring Da Costa from AHL is going to be good for them.

THIS GAME IS THE GAME TO WATCH TONIGHT BOYS. IT WILL BE HARD AND TOUGH GAME, check previous meeting, this game WILL BE SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETT.
I believe ottawa will take this, Look for Karlsson to score on on the PP.

Flames @ Blue Jackets: Blue Jackets Win in regulation
MacDonald in goal tonight, he will have less of a support from the Calgary Defense after last nights bad loss to Capitals. They should have had this game except nobody was marking Ovechkin, kind of a key point to winning against Washington. Check some of the New York Rangers game shutting down the Ovie machine big time, that's how you do it. Columbus had a good training camp and I simply believe they will continue with this into the first game of the season. Jenner is a great power forward and match up good in the first line.

It's ward, he is old and he has had major surgery. That said, if ward is play like old ward it will be tight. However I think that Detroit will light up the lamp tonight. Time for Alfredsson to introduce himself to the fans.

Two games played for Toronto, and two Wins. Offensively they are looking good with production from all top 3 lines. First two lines are well balanced however in this game Kulemin is out due to injury. Spencer Abbott will take his place. Abbott has a lot of speed so I think he will fit into this lineup with Kadri and Lupul. I also believed he spend some time with Kadri in Marlies a couple of years ago.

Sabres @ Penguins: Penguins Runline -1.5 (1u)
No Miller for Sabres in Goal tonight. Really happy for him yesterday, long time since I've seen Miller this sharp for a whole game.
Penguins is just too strong for Buffalo. Negative is Neal is out with injury but Bennett and Jokinen will be good fit with Malkin.

Dustin Jeffrey always seems to be able to score goals against Buffalo, but can't find him on any betting site as goalscorer =)

Not much to say, both team will play offensive hockey tonight. Bishop in goal for Chicago. Second line should get going tonight for Chicago.

Why does it go over:
- Holtby has had a really bad start, don't see him getting much support from Caps Defense.
- Ovechkin is on Fire!!
- Washington's Power play is excellent.
- Dallas has 4 balanced lines, this will cause damage in one of washington's D pairing.

Tampa bay was so bad yesterday they had no right winning this game. After half the game was played this team had 3 shots on goal!!
The main reason the over was killed by an excellent performance by Bishops. ANd that Tampa decided to not shoot the puck....

Capitals game started good then it just died and no team really pushed for it.

Looks for Flyers first line to start producing. Two first game Flyers they only manage to score 1 goal each, allthou they outshoot Toronto in the first game. However historical and previous games against Carolina is very easy for Flyers. I believe this will be high scoring game. The only thing that would prevent this from hitting is if ward playing like he did in the first game, I don't think he will.

I know this sounds a bit strange with Bernier play the way he has, but I think Colorado has a great offensive team and this is something that Roy stated early on the pre-season. I'm expecting this game to lots of offense. Landeskog is back in the lineup on the first line together with Statsney and Tanguay. Both Statsney and Landeskog is very good and will setup Tanguay for lots of scoring. The Toronto defense has not played a lot against Colorado and vice verse, I don't think that Toronto's second and third paring of D will not match up great against Colorado.

Panthers @ Flyers: Panthers Over 5.5 Goals
Flyers has to wake up after their head coach was fired. I think they have been sleeping in the first two games with no offense whatsoever and I feel they will push offense at home to prove they can change this bad season opening. CMON I mean they have Berube and Laperriere as their head and assistant coaching staff, this can only mean they will not take any shit from the player, players who is not performing might go into next period with a black eye. However I still think that defensively this team is worst in many many years, with an aging Timmonen and Streit not being an addition to this team in my own opinion I think that Florida will be able to score on flyers. This game should be entertaining.

Hurricans @ Penguins: Penguins -1 1/2
Penguins is looking so solid at defense its crazy to think how they played last season and the season after that. Jacque Martin has already made a big impression (It is obvious for what reasons Penguins hired him) and I just don't seem them losing this game. Carolina had problem scoring on Philadelphia and it will be even harder tonight. Fleury is proven to be good, KEEP IT GOING PLEASE!!!

I'm looking for Malkin to start scoring tonight. Expecting at least two goal night from him. Remember how he played in the playoff against canes during the Stanley cup season. Jokinen and Bennett has to start helping Malkin offensively.

I know Ward is in net but he will not be able to control all of this power. I'm going with the runline until Penguins loses. auto play except against Western Top 4 teams.
