    Pucks 2/06/2009
    Alrighty...FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IDAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!

2 pack today folks. Looking to get away from the split and go 2-0 today!

NJD ML (-180) - 2 words...Atlanta SUCKS! This line should be 2-1 or higher. Value here.
DAL ML (-135) - Dallas rolls tonight after a tough loss last night. Will be a close game but they won't be tired. DAL gets back on track tonight.

Looking to cash Friday to head into the weekend up. Going out tonight, having a few drinks, hibatchi resturant, enjoying the weekend after a long week working for the man.

It's getting to quiet in here...bring it on people

    Devils

Line must be so low because game at Atlanta. Was -265 in Jersey in January. Devils coming off loss, have revenge vs Thrashers, and have been better on road. Clemenson won 7 of last 8 on road also. Love devils at this price.
Also playing Pittsburg and Colombus over the total. Is -125 but everything points to over unless someone expects both goalies to snap out of their funks.

We all know PIT can score but Columbus is abismal on the road.

Totals are the toughest in the NHL.

Actually they put up quite a few goals on the road and Dubielewicz is playing tonight who has a 4.88 GAA

To be fair that 4.88 average is for 1 game (49 minutes) .

Where do you see who is starting in goal? From ESPN.com preview of this game:

"The Blue Jackets will need a strong performance in net to keep the Penguins stars in check, and Steve Mason is likely to get his first start against Pittsburgh. The rookie has started 19 straight games despite battling mononucleosis."

Alrighty. Good info. The post was back on the 4th but sometime today ESPN put on the Columbus injury page that Mason didn't make the trip.

I still stand by my statement about the 1 game average. Very small sample size. But still, the over could come in. Whats the line?

                goalie changes

Looks like Weeks is starting for NJ. He has impressive stats but I thought Clemmenson was going to go. Also liked Pitt against Col because Mason sick and struggling. Don't know anything about the other guy but plays have already been placed.

                NJ -180
                Col/Pit ov -125

Hope you got on the bus this afternoon with the 2-0 picks. I was worried about the Dallas game, I didn't think they were going to win....up until they dropped the puck in the 1st period.

NJ got it done against an ATL team that will make any opponent money for the betters.

I was out all night but was getting score updates and very sorry to see the CLB/PIT game go under, I know some people who were on some over action here. Totals are so tough in the NHL.

Little rum and coke sleep assistance but we hit them hard bright and early (yeah right) tomorrow.

                      Nice 2-0

And 2 blowouts also, don't have to sweat it out. Scoreless first period in Pittsburg game killed the over. I usually take unders because it is so painful waiting for goals but lately i've been getting burned on empty netters. You are right, totals in nhl are difficult. When I watch a game it seems like the goalie is getting pelted with 100+ mph shots for 60 minutes. There should be a lot more goals scored than there are. Got to hand it to any goalie, its a very difficult job.

                        ploben,

Nice job last night. May you have many more like that the remainder of the season.
