First picks for the year:

Flyers -.5 (+119) -- 1*
Flyers -1.5 (+210) -- .5*
Leafs @ Flyers O5.5 (-130) -- 1*


First B2B game. Last year Leafs were 4-5 in B2B situations (not too bad). However, when those games were on the road they were 2-4. Also, teams that won the first road game of b2b road games went on to lose teh second road game 65% of the time. Side note, out of their 5 losses last year in B2B games, 4 of them came by 2 goals or more (hence why i'm taking a shot at the Flyers -1.5).

In regards to totals, 6 of the 9 Leafs B2B games last year went O5.5 goals.

Lets hope I don't start 0-3 for the season!

I will be playing the flyers for the same reason. Thing the leafs are going to be tired and flyers are going to be fired up for their first game. Think in taking the over aswell

sorry I didn't get back to ya sooner. Didn't study enough so couldn't give ya a good feel. Just think Wings more veteran/better coached gonna start out with less jitters. watching the game now. Glad to see the goal. They are completely dominating possession and control. Think they take this one easy.

Lots of games tonight, not gonna play all of them. Will not play Pens/Devils. Devils played the Pens extremely well last year, Pens dealing with injuries but at home. Pass.

Like Bruins at home vs a team that was I believe 6-17 or 6-18 last season. Bruins also won all 3 matchups last year. Think they take care of business at home. Like them in regulation.

Stars have added some weapons (Seguin and Gonchar) and I think they have a lot of excitement going into the season. First game at home against a weak team they will be looking to show that off. Panthers got Tim Thomas but it's been how long since he played? Panthers still pretty much same old Panthers. Like Dallas in reg and looking at PL.

Capitals looked pretty good for just over 2 periods against the Blackhawks, owning the lead at one point in the 3rd period if i'm not mistaken. They are playing a home opener against a calgary team in disarray. I definitely like caps in reg and am also looking at the PL here.

Blues retain a lot from a good team last year. I like them this year as well. Lots of balance. Predators added a lot to their offense this past season but I think it takes them some time to build chemistry. Like the Blues at home here in reg and again looking at the PL.


Looks like I am liking all faves tonight thought to be fair not many "even" matchups. Don't like picking the late games cause I am in bed before they finish up.

Florida is brutal and Dallas has alot of strong offseason moves that will help them this year. I see myself playing them quite a bit this season

Calgary is just awful. Without Kippersoff they will be lost, when they used to have him they got stomped, i can imagine now. Just to add to it, Ovie has 12 points in 6 games vs the Flames. I can see him lighting them up tonight
