    Pucks 1/30/09
Little bit of a rough night last night....alright...it was a brutal night last night. Today is where we get it back.

I've got 3 games and I think that will be all I will be on today. Just want to make sure these are the ones I want to go with. Going to make it 3-0 today!

Check back little bit later today.

    Alright...here we go.

    Friday Friday Friday!!!
Only 7 more hours in my work day. Tonights puck picks will be just that...picks. I like the stats, trends, and teams...it's not like I am just throwing darts here, instead of my writeup the thread is wide open for conversation and welcome any thoughts on these games.

    Picks (Bookmaker odds):
Ottawa vs. Columbus - Columbus ML (-165)
Pittsburg vs. New Jersey - New Jersey ML (-150)
Nashville vs. Calgary - Calgary ML (-205)

I like the Columbus pick. Ottawa won last night, but wasn't very impressive.

I am looking for Pittsburgh to win vs the Devils. Devils are hot right now, and saying they are due for a loss isn't exactly smart betting tactics but they are. This might end up being an Over play for me instead of ML.

Calgary-should win, but I don't like the chalk already -210 at my book.

Ottawa has to be tired and with the stats pointing to CLB it is icing on the cake with Ottawa's previous game.

Because you brought it up, the PIT/NJ will probably be a close game. Now NJ did play a tough game against BOS last night, but it's BOS. The Ottawa premise could be used to say NJ will be tired too, but NJ's goalie play at home and away if awesome. I can't see NJ giving up another 3 goals.

Calgary...another team on my BIG LIST that will make the $$$ the 2nd half of the season. I haven't officially locked it in becuase I want to see if the line will move.

Trying to find the stats for both NJ and OTT in B2B games on the season, and having trouble locating it. Any tips on a website?

Towards the top of the page theres trends and under NJ is their record in B2B. The ATS record is REALLY the SU record.

NJ is 6-5 when playing B2B; 9-6 vs Division; Current Road trip 1-1 ATS
Pitt is 4-1 after playing 3 Consecutive Home Games; 10-6 vs Division; Current Home Stand 1-4 ATS

              Hmmm

like the Calgary and Columbus picks thinking of putting them in a parlay also for a little more value as far as NJ they have been on a nice win streak and playing well but it has to come to an end and tonight might just be the night. BOL
