    Jaromir Jagr Still Going Strong
A few days back, 41 year old Jaromir Jagr signed a one-year contract with the New Jersey Devils. The contract will pay a $2 million guaranteed salary and another $2 million in incentives. Jagr has netted 681 career goals, good for 10th place in NHL history. He is just 9 goals shy of Mario Lemieux, 11 goals away from Steve Yzerman, and 13 goals behind Mark Messier. He also has a chance to move from 8th place in the all-time points list with 1,688 career points, which is just 35 less than Lemieux.

If Jagr can stay healthy, he should be a nice contributor for the Devils.

I thought it was a pretty solid signing for the Devils. Jagr is still an effective player.
