This is a big game here for Pittsburgh. Playing in New York against a feisty Islanders team. The question is does Penguins play like they did for game 5 or do they turn back into the inconsistent Penguins of old and allow a lesser team to take them out of their game? Penguins will this series but the important factor about this game is Pittsburgh closing it out in game 6 instead of allowing it to go to a game 7. That speaks volumes about the teams discipline going forward. The Blackhawks (seasons best team) , Kings (defending champs), and Senators (underdog beast), all closed their series prior to reaching a game 7 (kings did it after being down 0-2). The Penguins need to establish themselves and make a clear statement that they are the best in the East and finish the Islanders off strong. Yes the Islanders are a fast, solid, offensive team but they are no where near on the level of a Pittsburgh team on their game. It doesn't matter if this game is on the road, the Penguins should come in and win game 6 definitively just as the the other teams did in their last games, within their own respective styles of play. Who wins it tonight?

the isles have ability and talent, but pens are a quick strike team and one defensive mistake (which the isles usually make) leads to a goal. pens also make some defensive mistakes, so it's not like they're unbeatable, but without fleury in the net giving up easy goals it will be hard to score the 4 or 5 goals they will need. if the isles had a better goalie this game would be harder to bet on, but nabakov is just not good enough. i think pens win pretty easy, 4-2, 4-3 something like that.Comment -
