NHL Playoff Prediction Contest
It's time!!! Playoffs are back baby and what better way to make them even more fun then to have the annual playoff prediction contest.

THE RULES/INSTRUCTIONS
1. 100 point buy in.
PROS: Send 100 to me on this first post. Very simple.
NON-PROS: If you want in get someone else to pay your 100 for you before the playoffs start.
(Last year it was too hard for me to keep track of the 2 points a day max transfer from all non-pros. Plus it would take 50 days to pay this year's buy in)
2. Pick the outcome of every series, each round.
3. Pick the correct amount of games the series will go.
4. Pick your East and West champions before the start of Round 1.
5. Pick your Stanley Cup Champion before the start of Round 1.
6. You will earn 3 points per correct team in each series, with a 1 point exact games bonus point. (This bonus is only achieved if you have the correct series winner as well)
7. You will earn 5 points per correct East and West champion.
8. You will earn 10 points for the correct Stanley Cup champion.
Here are a couple examples below.
(1) PIT vs (8) NYI
Prediction: PIT in 6
Result: PIT 4 NYI 0
Points Awarded: 3
(2) MTL vs (7) OTT
Prediction: OTT in 7
Result: OTT 4 MTL 3
Points Awarded: 4
(3) VAN vs (6) SJ
Prediction: VAN in 6
Result: SJ 4 VAN 3
Points Awarded: 0
You will pick again before the start of the 2nd and 3rd rounds and the Cup finals. Don't forget!
Your East and West and Cup Champs picks must be done before the start of the 1st round.
If you forget to make your picks at any time I will give you the favorites to win in 4. This is fair I think as you are punished for forgetting by being given the favorite to win in 4 which is the least likely outcome for duration.
Prizes will be figured out once the first game starts and we see how many points and entries we have. Last year we had 32 contestants and the top 6 paid. Expect a similar payout structure this year.

2nd: lakerboy
3rd: Mike Hunterz
4th: rickie65
5th: Eleven
6th: exon
