I would say East, more teams there that actually have a shot at the Cup.

Couldn't possibly disagree more. I think the West is WAY better top to bottom. I think the East has 3-4 teams MAX that could win a cup, while I think 6-7 in the West can make a run.

That's because everyone in the West is average. Can't score, lot of loser points.

Bun in reality only Hawks/Kings/Canucks are going to make the final. In the east Bruins/Pens/Rangers.

Sure you could think Blues/Sharks can win the cup but they CAN'T, WON'T, NEVER DO.

This is clearly wrong. You think the hawks only played 14 of their 48 games against 9 teams in the conf. Yet played 34 games against the other 5 teams? Not a chance.

For the record I think the West as a whole is stronger and has more legit teams. Although the East has possibly the two hardest teams to beat in Pittsburgh and Boston.
Just my opinion and before I get jumped I am aware of the Hawks reg season record, however think the Ducks come out of the West.

I haven't paid too much attention to the NHL since the ncaa tournament and baseball started up, but I'm back in it for the playoffs because I enjoy hockey as a sport. Right now I am on Blackhawks and Penguins to each win the first round. My question is this: When I was watching the Blackhawks this season their two main problems I saw was they get so many damn penalties and they always seemed to layoff in the third period and were ok with letting games go to OT...They didn't seem to step on their opponents throats in the 3rd period basically. Have they worked on this and will they actually care to go score a goal or two in the 3rd period?
