    SI's Picks
Going to start posting my NHL and likely other sports as well. Got 4 games tonight. Lines will be provided by BetCris though shopping for best line obviously will help a ton.

    Ottawa +145
Ottawa won the previous match up you are looking at roughly the same in terms of special teams (PK,PP). The two teams are nearly equal in first period differential with the Flyers having a 1 goal edge but at -3 compared to -4 by the Senators. Sure the Flyers are better at home than the Senators are on the road in terms of scoring goals 2.98 to 2.5. but the Flyers have been below average in terms of net minding a 2.98 goals against average and then the Senators have the edge in the face off circle. getting +145 is a no brainer if you ask me look for this line to drop.

    New Jersey -105
I really really like this game I frankly don't see how the Devils are the underdog here. Goaltending (2.46 to 3.15 GAA), special teams (93% to 95%), goals/game split (2.5 to 3) almost everywhere the Devils have the edge yet they are a -105 underdog? Common like the Senators pick I really see this line going down probably flip it Nj -115 where this game will close.

    Montreal -125
The Canadiens have done very well currently sitting atop the Northeastern division they have an 8-3-1 record at home. The line is telling me that the odds makers think they only win this game 56% of the time that number should be closer to 60%. Don't get me wrong the Penguins are real good team as well, but I wouldn't be shocked if we see a slight regression on the road currently 8-4 while only 5-4 at home. I don't expect that Pittsburgh will be able to get to their great 3.4 goals per game on the road against the strong Canadien defense which has only allowed 2.01 GAA which is the second lowest for teams in action today only behind that's right Ottawa who I'm also on. Though it might be a little chalky taking the Pens +1.5 also okay a lot of chalk just looked -275 but I expect this one to be a tight game. Probably the pick I like the least of the 4.

    Anaheim +105
A divisional game between 2 high scoring opponents one of which is playing back to back (Ducks). I expect this line will probably stick close to where its currently sitting just my guess but with these teams being so close in most the statistical categories I look at. I'm not sure why I'm getting plus money on a team atop it's division against a team at the bottom. Some might think that it's a sign to take the Coyotes sort of like taking a unranked fav in college basketball against a ranked favorite but my indicators suggest otherwise. The Ducks only have to win this game about 45% of the time for this to be a profitable prediction and considering Phoenix is basically 54.5% at home 6-4 with an overtime loss this isn't the NHL scoring system you don't get your money for losing in overtime. Another reasonable play here could be the over again both are high scoring in this situation 3.1 goals per game at hoem for Coyotes and 3.2 on the road for the Ducks the line is sitting at 5 goals have to lay -125 but always have the chance for a push unlike 5.5.

    Good luck
