    Kings/Blues under 5.5
I'm looking at this game. Last night Chris Mason played really well for the Blues. The Ducks scored 4 goals 1 was let in by Legace, 1 was an empty net, 1 was a lucky one-timer by the Anahiem enforcer, and 1 was a defensive breakdown that was the center's responsiblity. Mason made allot of great saves. The Blues PP looked terrible last night and they will be dragging their ass tonight after a hard game last night. The Kings have a terrible offense and a good defense and the Blues have an ok defense. Erik Ersberg is a good young player and he is the King's goalie of the future I believe. Also the Kings are gripping hard after that beat down in Denver and when the Kings grip they are terrible. (I'm a life long King's fan) At +100 I think the under is a good deal so I'm taking the under.

Blues over 6 of last 7, Kings over 4 of 6. These two teams 4 of last 6.

I was looking into this game further. The SL power play is really good. But I still like the under but I'm going to reduce my bet slightly.

Miser, Ersberg is nowhere close to the "goaltender of the Kings future". Jonathan Bernier is being groomed to be that, Jonathan Quick has done well in Manchester as well, and Jeff Zatkoff is another good young goalie in the Kings' pipeline. Ersberg has shown flashes of brilliance here and there, but he is nothing more than a stopgap. He hasn't proven he can be consistent and looked very bad in his last game out.

Also, the Kings just called up Teddy Purcell, one of their top young prospects with a great scoring touch (lead the minor league affiliate with goals and assists). He may not make an immediate impact, but he will be noticeably better than what the Kings have put out there lately. Also, the Kings current line combinations (with Derek Armstrong no longer on the top 3 lines) are much more prone to scoring.

With the goaltender struggles for the Kings of late and Purcell's call up, I'd be very very careful playing the under.

OK I was wrong about this game but in my defense I didn't count on the game bein 1 long 60 minute power play
