    Monday NHL picks
First of all, I would like to warn you that I'm not usually betting on NHL and I'm giving it a try (quite successfully in past 3 nights) while NBA was on all-star brake and is starting again only tomorrow night. That is why be careful while considering playing any of my picks. I'm just posting them, because it might be helpful for some or a fade material for others, but comments, leans and your thoughts would be appreciated.

    Early leans:

    NJD v. OTT:
    - Under 4.5
    - 1P Under 1.5

*Devils coming off a blow-out loss against Islanders will put more effort into D for sure, that will cause some trouble for Sens. Devils will be all out not to lose another game, especially at home, after that humiliation against Islanders, but Senators on the other side will try not to make their bad away record (2-5) even worse, I can see both teams trying hard not to give up goals in the first place and this being a low scoring game. However, might put a small bet on Senators ML since Devils line is such a juice.

    NYI v. PHI:
    - Islanders ML
    - Over 5.5

*Both teams with awful home(NYI)/away(PHI) record - 1-4 in last 5 games, but Islanders are one the wave right now with that huge win yesterday, this fact will definitely help them to snatch another one tonight against bad playing Philly. This one might hit over as well, but not sure how fast they will come out, I'm sure Flayers will be hungry to bury some pucks.

    COL v. NAS:
    - Avalanche ML
    - Under 4.5

*Avalanche need to get their s*it together and not losing 4th straight game at home tonight would be a great start. I know Predators are playing really well and their away record is pretty respectable as well, but they are not a high scoring team and in this duel I can see Colorado taking it with 2:1 or 2:2 in a regular time.
