Ottawa's hopes and dreams just came to an abrupt halt.
First Spezza goes down now Karlsson, the injury looked very bad, twisted knee type injury

Via sens twitter feed - Update on Karlsson: Erik suffered a laceration to his left achilles, which will require surgery to repair. He will be out indefinitely.

Can't say I feel too bad being a Leafs fan. Better chance for Leafs to finally make playoffs. Besides, Sens have a history of injuring Leaf players.

Brutal just saw the replay. Of course Cooke had to be the one who did it too
Poor Sens. They'll be lucky to even make the playoffs now

Don't think he ment it but its kinda funny how he hit exactly on his Achilles' tendon. Just happen to be ottawas best player and just happen to be Cooke.

definitely a scary incident, but I don't think it was intentional on Cooke's part. I guess the Sens are headed towards selecting a high draft pick, now that Karlsson and Spezza are out indefinitely.
