NHL Futures, how do these make any sense?
There are a few books that updated NHL futures every single day, which is nice.
Especially 5dimes. So usually they get adjusted depending on team performance the last few days.
I know books don't care about hockey or pay attention to it but....

PHX was 100-1 yesterday, they get creamed by Chicago, now they are 85-1 today.
Florida was 125-1 yesterday, they beat Philly, now they are 150-1 today.
Nashville was 40-1 yesterday, they smoke L.A., on a 4 win streak and now they are 45-1 today.

Florida is mediocre but still in the playoff hunt you could say. No one other book has high odds like this on them.

I find the books adjust slow, Sharks were still +200 to win division after their great start,
only now they are finally -200

I already have so many NHL futures it's laughable but how can you pass up some of the odds that show up.
Like Detroit 50-1, when joke teams like the Kings can win a cup, anyone is fair game.

if PHO bet is at 5dimes..you better get it in writing that it is not a bad line...or they will take a free shot at you.

then again if u ask if its a bad line or not, they'll look into it more and wonder why you're asking...

They get adjusted based on wagers on the other teams too you know. Although the Phoenix one is weird I'll admit.

Phoenix has next to no shot, how is that a bad line? There's no value there at all so have fun betting that one.

Well its also funny how Ravens started out the season +1800 moved up to +2200 and ended up winning the superbowl, granted thats a different sport, but anything- can happen. People, are just people.

Basically no games played yesterday and now....

PHX is 50-1, down from 100-1
Florida is 95-1, down from 150-1

                  lol

Don't say people were pounding them at 5am today....

Maybe my $15 on Florida moved the line.

Florida WAS terrible but are now playing well, and doing it all on the road. So i can see why theirs decreased quite a bit.
