Ottawa seems due after a couple tough losses to Pitt and Tampa, at same time Craig Anderson seems due for a bad game as well. Alfredsson apparently also has the flu and could miss the game. Some things to ponder....

You seen Ottawas goaltending? I agree that their defense will most likely have problems against Washington but Anderson is great in goal.
Nevertheless I will also back Washington in this because they have great value.

This is why I'm taking at least a couple weeks off. Want to enjoy the Super Bowl without a bet, and just watch some puck, if anything analyze and see where teams are at. Cream will rise to the top. Maybe after trade deadline. My play of the night was Chicago (no wager) did they even win?

goaltending weak??? they had one bad game and it was on a second game of a back to back in Tampa. Other than that Andeson has been lights out. The way Ottawa was playing theres no way Wash was gonna favorites. LMFAO Wash with one win, shutout by Montreal at Home 4-0 Winnipeg beat them in washington 4-1. Next time just give me your money please.
