What's up guys,

I haven't had an account here till now but have been tailing, fading and just observing the forums for a while. Decided to finally join in on the fun. I've only been seriously wagering for about a year and it's been up and down like most. I'm really into hockey and glad I can finally put some wagers and see how I do. So here we go!

Just getting my feet wet with one pick I will show.

NYR-BOS - Over 5 -125

Any team at this point without a win is close to a must win with the 48 game schedule. NYR will be flying tonight...but if you watched last game between these two teams you know it will be a physical game that will open up lanes. This is the Bruins type of game and they will score goals. There will be more than it's share of PP's, also. I know bruins are 0-8 PP and have always struggled... I'll always look at both sides. I don't think the PP draught will go past this game. In my opinion... unfortunately Bruins lose, but game goes over. NYR - 4 Bruins - 3

Well that was a friggen nail bitter being a Bruins fan and I was jumping out of my seat... Bruins do beat draught but only 1-5 PPG tonight.

Blackhawks offense is looking GREAT to start this season. I have Kane on my fantasy league team and I did not expect this type of start with him. Dallas did get some offense from Ryder last game... but being a Bruins fan, I know how his random games come and go. Blackhawks will score at least 3 while holding Dallas to under that. Didn't make it on here last night, but hit 3 of 3 on picks. Doesn't matter cause it was not documented. Anyhow.... this pick today is going with the trend that's 3-0 so far. San Jose is looking mighty fine and scoring. Thornton is just a beast that dominates in the O zone. He's at times getting doubled up on and dishing it off beautifully. I'm riding with the SJ PL today at 4.

Rangers are stacked.... we all know that. After the slower type start, they will crush it at home tonight. Gaborik is on fire, while Nash is starting to get in rhythm. -175 is right on the max where there isn't as much value IMO. Tonight I have no doubts in NY and am willing to lay it down.

Bruins should watch some film on SJ PP! Holy crap they are ridiculous on their PP. Move the puck so good and always find someone open... nevermind score on every chance they have. Nice hit on SJ. One more play for tonight.

Thanks for the replys and input! First loss on this thread... Just got home from pond hockey and pounding beers, so going to lay off the 8o'clock games. Haven't had time to look into them.

Lost the stats game to the emotion game in this one. Didn't watch the game, but I knew the stats were on my side going into it.
