Thanks Cotes! And in regards to your question about the Blues, I really like them in the series. The reason I don't the Kings is because I don't have much faith in Quick and it appears thats who the Kings will have as their #1 guy, which shocks me because of how well Bernier has played all season.

Haha my bad not clear. I mean you know you researched only B2B games, maybe you can do another spreadsheet, such as: Teams off a loss in a local derby. (Bad example but still, do you get my picture?)

So you would have 2 Spreadsheets. 1 B2B one and the other something else. So you could then compare to each other and see some more trends?

I'd definitely be interested but this one took so much time IDK how much I'm up for coming up with another one lol I would like to work on getting previous years of the B2B done before I take on another project, but definitely something I would consider down the road

That's a tough one... Really like how the Penguins played at the end of the season, showing that they can win not only a Defensive game but an offensive game as well. If they had Crosby back they'd be my for sure pick but not having them hurts a little. I still like the trades they made to get iggy and morrow and I think they are my top pick. Blackhawks or Ducks would be my 2nd pick

Fortunately I had my migraine medicine with me so I was able to go back to work for about an hour and get my project done before I could go home and sleep it off. Cotes I haven't watched hockey long but I tell ya, I have never heard a crowd get as loud in hockey as I have this Montreal crowd, great electricity! I almost feel like I'm there! None of the other games have even been close to that loud. I know I'm from Dallas but I am somewhat new to following hockey... I may have just found my favorite team! Love teams with a great fanbase

BTW, Quick proves again why I wouldn't touch the Kings this series. He is not the same goalie he was last year. He should not have let that last one in. Blues look decent but the Kings actually dominated most of the game so I look for them to get one or two games back here (also figured Kings had the better team, which is why I wouldn't touch the Blues either). Think this series could actually go 7 but I think either team could win.

Capitals continue to look solid. They really found their groove towards the end of the season and you always like that of a team going into the playoffs. They carried it into last nights game and from what I saw, just looked like the better all-around team. I actually think they are almost as strong defensively (or have been lately) as the Rangers but have a much better offense and I really like them in this series. Rangers have a tough time finding the net.

Hate to say this cotes, but the Senators just looked bigger and stronger last night. Seemed the Canadiens were getting pushed around a bit. Senators had great puck control and were able to maintain possession. A bit odd that the Senators are towards the top of the league in shots on goal but 28th in GPG. You'd think some of those start to end up in the back of the net... Sens already have a top notch D, with Karlsson back if they start finding the net, look out!

I am really starting to think Detroit might take this series. They were able to get one AT the Ducks and I think they match up well against the Ducks (took 2/3 from them this season). Redwings also come into the playoffs playing very well. If I were to put money on the series, I think the value is definitely with the Redwings. Think this series could go 7 and may have some fireworks.

There is a slight rest advantage for Montreal with Ottawa playing back to back Saturday-Sunday with travel and Habs off Sunday. Still leaning toward Ottawa as the better value here myself. Just think it is a case where the D/goalie are just in much better form and getting some decent plus value at +135.

Didn't realize Sens at +135. Both teams have solid B2B records. But no way I'd take Canadiens as a big favorite here because you are absolutely right, Sens D/goalier are in great form right now. It was +135 earlier on 5Dimes reduced, now down to +115 there and other places due to Pacioretty, Gionta and Eller(kind of knew that one last night) all being out for the Habs.
