Reasons:

Flyers blue-line D hasn't improved and neither has Penguins during the lockout (gotten worse).
Malkin is the hottest overseas and is at another level then anybody else.
Fleury are known to have slow starts and is also pretty poor against Flyers.

This will be a offensive demonstration again and I do see this game 4-3, 6-4. I'm not touching the Moneyline, but my leans are following for anybody brave enough to bet it, I believe that the flyers might win this as they have kept 17 players active whilst penguins has only had 6 overseas or in AHL. The depending factor will be which goalie will play, and I believe

Ilya Bryzgalov will win tonight as he has played overseas as well.

WHen you look at LA roster it doesn't look that great at least in the regular season. Guys like Richards and Penner are all Playoff guys. I'm thinking -1 1/2 on chicago but the goaltending is too unpredictable to forsee in this matchup. I assume that their star C is playing.

Pittsburgh: There are some tired legs out in the pens game. Penguins players stopped (died play dump and chase) after 1 period of play. Flyers kept going for 1 more period (Fleury kept the net nice). there was not enough energy in the teams to put up 6+ goals....
Chicago: Quick didn't have a good start as predicted. He's back and the long outage will take some time. I think that LA will have a hard time getting into winning in the next couple of games.
Carolina: Game is over after 1st period. Florida has the jump on this team and is dominating everything. Ward is terrible tonight. Stall is nowhere and PK sucks.

Buffalo are hungry team and their troupe of players looks solid, not too many changes.

Florida had an embarrassing loss to Ottawa. This is no uncommmen, but to face Montreal is good news for Florida as they are dominated this last year. Their you guns will give support to Kovalev in his return and I see that they will come off with a victory in this game.
I think this will be a high scoring game if the goalies allow it. Florida should be the better team and deserve a sweet odds of 2.30 ML.

San Jose saved my day! +/- 0 thanks to the -1 1/2 late play. Otherwise awful day. Philadelphia is looking weak, poor mistakes and lack ability to find the net. Detroit missing it's quarterback and lacking insensitive and pressure in attacking zone. Montreal dominated Florida at home. Not much to say, poor picks.

Reasons:
First home game for Penguins. Not sure how defensively Toronto are this season but the previous two games have been low scoring.
They will not be able to stop Neal, Malkin and Crosby. First defensive line with Phaneuf and Kostka will be able to handle Crosby's first line (They still look a bit unsynched) but Penguins second line will have a field day today and put in 2-3 goals. Power play as has been 50% and is looking real good. Expect a goal or two from PP. Predicted score 5 - 2

A bit of a gamble but here is the angle. Smith has not looked good. He is however Phoenix's main man and I believe he will have a good game. He's defense has been looking lackluster so can't blame him either. I feel this game will be a under game, whereby Phoenix win 3 - 1 or so. Columbus lost to Detroit which is simply the worst team in the league at the moment...

Lundqvist shouldn't have played in the B2B against Penguins, that was a coaching mistake. He will have a big night in MSG as he almost always deliver strong performances after a poor one. When will Rangers start producing goals? They have played extremely poor and I'm sure that their aggro head coach is giving them an earful. Seidenberg is not available for Boston so this should be good for the NYR offense. If Rangers win I think they will win with more then 1 goal so going with the -1 1/2 again. The odds are great again at 3.35.
