I'll stay unbiased even though my first play is
$100 on Blackhawks (+107) vs Kings
Kings gonna be all cheers and tears as their banner goes up, Hawks come out fired up and score early, cruise to a first win
$200 on Wild (-1.5 +205) vs Avalanche
Living just 10 minutes away from the Xcel Center, I know how effin fired up these Wild fans are to see their new boys Parise and Suter, as well as the return of Pro Hockey in general. the 18,000+ will be rockin and rolling and they will put on a show tomorrow and all season long. Possibly looking at the Over 5.5 too.
Well those are my picks for Day 1, 98 days left. We'll see how this goes.
