Anyone else see value here? NHL was supposed to re-align, but due to the lockout, no dice. And now Winnipeg is stuck in the Southeast. That is a TON of travel for divisional games in a compact season.

i;ve changed my stance. i think they sneak into playoffs. young roster will benefit through heavy travel. i thknk detroit gets 8th spot or misses playoffs.

They had 84 points in 82 games last year. Works out to 47 points in 48 games if you round up, and I just see no reason as to why they will win at a better pace this year than last year.
