What should be solid plays (Sharks, St Louis...) turn out to be a trip to the woodshed I don't understand how i can miss so many 'solid' plays. I take my time & do the homework (have my own spreadsheets for stats, check injuries, goaltenders, review trends) yet couldn't hit water right now if I fell out of a boat...

I believe that I know my stuff, but this has just been a terrible season for me. Still, I believe in myself & will be grinding it out to the bitter end (just hope that I can afford the y/e shopping trip for the wife ).

I'm thinking that I may take a page from your book & try the live action for a break of routine.

- I could not get a read an nyr/bos xcept for un 5.5
- Tampa is long overdue but I could not pull the trigger on that one - I like the tt ov 2
- Ottawa should take it (this should cause concern as I played them as well)

It's like crap there Wildman. It has worked for decades for me but this season is right out of left field for me...

I check goalies, injuries/suspensions, home/away record, hot/cold reviews and a few other things - pretty much the same thing that most cappers check.I've just been on the wrong side of the puck for the start of the season. One problem that compounds my pain is that I'm a volume bettor - so when I lose, I lose big.

Going to give it another go tonight.
