Will be on the 1st period over as well obviously. Weird stat though the Pens are 0-6 for the 1st period over at home this year

Better play may be to take the Pens 1P ML or spread, they have only allowed 6 goals against in the 1st the entire year, while scoring 18.

Yeah I agree. Not always over but they are a very good 1st P team for scoring 1 and going into 1st int up 1 goal

what do you think about the Salami today? My book has it at 16.5. 3 games, would have to average 5-6 goals a game. I am leaning the Over on this. Could see a lot of goals bw the Flyers/Pens and the Blues/Avs

Too much variance in these teams (specifically how they play generally vs. how they play each other specifically) for a salami play for me.

-- Five of last seven Calgary games went over the total. Under is 10-1 in last 11 games between Calgary-LA.
-- Over is 7-1-1 in last nine St Louis games; last five Colorado-St Louis games stayed under the total.

I noticed the HTH with the last five bw Avs and Blues, but the Avs Goalie play has been horrendous lately (they have been playing backups). here is an excerpt from espn... "It's unclear who will start in net for the Avalanche, though Semyon Varlamov just 1-3-1 with a 3.77 GAA over his last five starts. Jean-Sebastien Giguere is on a personal leave of absence, and the team has called up Calvin Pickard to replace him."

My soccer record is up-to-date, but as you can only have one SBR Spreadsheet (which is so stupid) I have kinda lapsed in my NHL tracking. I think i'm right around +5u or so, hasn't been a great season. I'll get back on track with the stats.

Bovada - they also had Letang O/U 2 SOG. Juicy overs, but seemingly easy money. You have to expect lots of shots / penalties between these two teams and with malkin up on point for the PP he's just gonna sit up there and rifle shots on net, which he did...and we win!
