Islanders score 4 at Pittsburgh and the under still hits. It's time you boys jumped off the Pitt wagon and jumped on the Lightning. TB -½ 1st period, -½ (60 min.) and -1½ saved me on losing 1st period and totals bets with Pitt. I'm biased (live in Tampa), but my boys can score, hell 2 were scored by the grunt line tonight. All 5 of their wins have covered the 1½ puckline and the only game they haven't scored at least 4 goals they were losing 4-0 to the Islanders (game 2) before banging home 3 in 6 minutes to make it a game. 5 of 6 games have seen at least 6 goals. Probably just jinxed them, but I'm riding them until they show otherwise.

On another note, should have ignored the total and followed you on Canada +1.5 (good call so far). This game blows.

Well, lost 50€ on the over 1.5, won 108.68€ on the Sharks 1P ML, so +58.68€ on this last game. Still down a good amount tonight in the NHL, but the scoreless soccer match between USA and Canada made me happy. Can't complain too much in the end.

Coulda been worse...lost 3.4u on the total, but risked 3u to win 2u on the 1P ML...so lost 1.4u. Sucks, but could be way worse.

Yeah for a 2:5 night I actually didn't lose as much as it could have been. Cashed a 2 unit play on the 1st period under Red Wings - Dallas, cashed the 1.5 unit play on Sharks ML 1stP and lost 3 1 unit plays and 2 0.5 unit plays. Could have been the other way around with cashing the 0.5 and losing the bigger ones.... And as I know myself I will be back tomorrow, although I said I will take 1 or 2 days off from the NHL (which would be wiser...), I will be back tomorrow

You know what drives me nuts? When I throw a tiny amount of money at a ridiculous play and it hits. Like last night I was pissed and threw $5 at "game ends in a shootout" after the 1P of the SJS/ANA game and I wake up to see it ended in a shootout.

WTF. That would NEVER happen if I put $100-$200 on it.

True. It was right around +400 at the time. Pretty crappy odds compared to the likelihood of a game going to a shootout, IMO. More like OT odds if you ask me.
