For those of you who followed me early in the NBA season, I'll be going with a season long thread for the NHL this year, my most profitable sport along with NFL. The NBA season started off VERY kind but trailed off quite quickly and rather than heavily chase the sport, I'd rather lay off and not stress.

The shortened season will have a mild change on the season but most trends and stats should stay fairly consistent.

I'll be posting my full spreadsheet with all sports and a bit of a skewed bankroll (I'm using a -$4500 bankroll on my spreadsheet) but my bankroll for NHL will be considered having a $500 BR.

Hope we can all make some solid cash and great caps with solid info.

Well, going to start the season off with a bit more than $500. Deposited $2000 into Pinny after moving from Bodog....

LA is way over-valued. I understand they won they cup but got really hot at the right time. They aren't the best team in the league on paper by far....

Kopitar is out, that's a huge hole in the lineup.
Quick isn't 100% of back surgery.
Willie Mitchell (top two DEFENSIVE defenceman) is out as well.
Banner raising and presentation (like any other pre-game festivity) ALWAYS bogs down the home team and takes out their fire early on. Chicago has something to prove after last year, Towes back healthy, Kane is matured, Keith also had a down year and CRawford with something to prove to show he is a true #1 after being lackluster.

Also, last year LAK were 0-3-1 in day games, Chicago was 5-1-1 respectively. Puck drop at high noon tomorrow local time. All value lies in Chicago or no play.

Really disappointing in that OVER Van/Edm....Tons of open chances where they missed the net, should have gone over but a loss is a loss...clearly still working out the rust.

If any of you guys are Bruins fans, here's a little stat for you, Rask hasn’t had great results in his three starts against the Jets since the club’s move from Atlanta, going 1-2-0 with a 3.05 goals-against average. This stat is HUGE for the OVER 5.5 bet. We can expect a 4-3 or 5-3 type win for the Bruins.
