I'm a huge Flyers fans also. I'm going to tread lightly, even if the flyers are genrally younger then some teams, after 2 or 3 games in 4 nights its going to take its toll on any team

Im leaning for alot of overs the 1st 2 or 3 wekks since defensive systems take longer to gel I foresee alot of sloppy defensive plays and alot of goals

2nd game is against my team - The Sabres....I could see the Sabres players not playing real tight defensively that first game, and seeing that game with some goals as well....

Not being homer, the loss of Jordan Staal shouldn't be totally overlooked, but in the end, the Pens with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang and Marc-Andre Fleury are very dangerous. BUT being the first game of the season at home I wouldn´t think Pitt would be a favorite.

It´s understandable, two lousy teams. Unpredictable.
IMO Flyers win in a close one. Something has to give with this team tonight, power plays have been atrocious but I´m hoping today they have an improvement vs. an equally lousy team in a back to back. At least Bryzgalov is playing well right now and Holtby will get his first start. Bryzgalov is not yet confirmed but I´m taking a chance that he will play.
