Yeah I've been a strong supporter of shipping him out of town but he seems to be a new man this year. Honestly I think him letting all his frustration etc out on Twitter and showing he's human and not just a robot/whiner has helped dramatically. He's a lot more confident this year and now I don't know WTF is gonna happen with the goaltending situation

Yeah I was originally gonna bet 2 units on the Hawks but as the +$ went higher I got a bad vibe about it. Just seemed like the books were strongly encouraging action on the Hawks. I mean they did almost win but still in the end these bookies seem to know what's up somehow

I gave you one loser already (though I really didn't think WSH would give up another lead in a game like they did in OTT, turns out they gave up two leads against TOR). All of these look like good spots: DAL, BUF, LA, and CHI. I'm also liking NSH and COL but probably won't bother with them since I got too much money tied up in the other four.

It will be interesting to see if the rangers physicality will throw the lightning off, or if the lightning's speed and quickness at the skilled positions will keep sniping goals from all angles. I am afraid to bet on the lightning tomorrow for some reason. Maybe the homer in me is causing me to be wary.

Hey swords... i'm learning what some of the bets mean in hockey. what is the difference between TB 1st per ML (-120) vs TB 1st per -1/2 spread (+170)? Does the ML push on a tie? seems like a big payout difference to be betting TB to be winning after the first period. thx!

Sorry, had the cable guy here. Period bets are a 2-way line (win/lose), so a tie results in a push. Laying the ½ goal would result in a loss. Obviously there is no tie full game. 1st 60 min. bets (3-way) don't include overtime/shootouts, so a money line bet that ends tied in regulation is a loss.

I'm just being conservative taking the 1st period ml. Sacrificing price for some security.
