I remember fading Lalime once when I found out he was starting because he had toiled in the AHL and should have been rusty. Dirty fukker posted a shut out. Learned that day putting any faith in backup goaltender failure is a fool's errand.

Pens off losses to Jets and Leafs. They do not lose 3 in a row to often, but then again the Sens have been very good so far this year. I predict a few goals in this game. Although the over is juiced slightly.

Yup teams do play better in front of backups a lot of the time. I think they know in the back of their mind the backup is a bit more of a liability than the starter so they often won't take as many chances
