vokoun was good. has been all playoffs. bruins had 2on1's, breakaways 3on1's, etc. pittsburgh cherry picks all game and exposes themself to get punished. they turn puck over in neutral zone, lose battles to forcheck etc. nothing any goalie could do on hortons wide open tap in off rebound, or krejci's 2 goals, and he woulda made save on first goal had pit defenseman not slid and redirected puck 5hole. vokoun even had stick out in front covering 5 hole the puck deflected in of D's sake at corner angle and snuck behind stick in gap. love cbc announcer saying vokoun coulda not given up rebound on horton goal. it was 2on0 for bruins in front of goalie, and puck was low shot on ice and is pad save no way goalie controls those rebounds. thats why you shoot low opposite corner so rebound goes to far side on open net. i think players should do that more on 2on1s when passing lane cutoff. shoot low far side and other guy gets wide open tap in. works every time. no goalie woulda saved all 3 of those 3 goals. maybe krejci's 2nd was savable but thats it. it was 1on1 he made initial save and lost to jam attempt. vokoun was great none of those goals were bad goals. boston had tons of quality chances it wasn't vokouns fault. pitt was giving up breakaways, 3on1s, 2on1s, etc. vokoun made great 2nd save on jagr, and preventing bergeron breakaway, etc. love how every television and internet commentator blamed vokoun when he played well. maybe he makes one of those maybe not. either way any team scores on 2 of those. and its not like pitt woulda won if he made a save or 2 because they got 0 goals. whether they win 1-0 or 2-0 whats the difference. not the goalies fault.
