    Light The Lamp: 11.26
    Season Record: 16-13-1

This will probably be the last Light The Lamp until Saturday or Sunday due to travel plans, family time, etc. Enjoy your Thanksgiving and let's make turkeys out of the books!

    Blackhawks/Sharks OVER 5.5 (-125)
Goal have been coming in bunches for both these squads lately. Chicago has scored 22 goals in their past 5 games, while San Jose has done even better with 26. CHI has also yielded 19 during that stretch, while SJ has given up 13. The Hawks have hit the OVER in 8 of 10, while the Sharks have done so in 7 of 10. For Chicago, the PP unit could do some work tonight. The Hawks PP unit has struck for PP goals in 8 of the last 10, including multiple strikes in 4 of those. The Sharks PK unit is fairly solid, yet they have given up PP goals in 4 of the last 6. On the other side, the Sharks PP unit is scorching hot. They've hit for 14 PP goals in their last 40 shifts covering 6 games where they've hit for 2 PP goals twice and 4 PP goals twice. That should yield some success against a Blackhawks PK unit that has given up PP goals in 6 straight and 10 of the last 31 shifts. Looks like Khabibulin & Nabokov in net. 3 out of 4 OVERs for Khabibulin in roadies this season and 13 goals yielded in his last 4 starts. Nabokov makes his first start in almost three weeks, so rust could be a factor. To cap it off, when these two teams met 10 days ago, we saw 11 goals scored in Chicago. The Sharks had 4 PP tallies in that one while the Blackhawks picked up two. It was Huet & Boucher in net back then. I think the offenses/special teams make the goalies pay again tonight. So let's mount up & LIGHT THE LAMP TO VICTORY!!!
