Slump buster? Perhaps not. LTL is now 8-6 after a nice 7-3 run to start. Everything that goes down usuallly costs you at least $20, unless you find a bar skank that'll go down for free.
Edmonton -105
The Oilers are playing some of their best hockey here to end their current road trip. Two straight wins in Carolina & Philly, which came at the end of a 5 game losing skid. Offense is the reason as the Oilers have scored 8 goals in those 2 games. In their 5 game skid, they scored just 5 goals. They still need to tighten up their PK unit which yielded 3 PP goals to Philly and is still only killing about 73%. A trip to Columbus should help as the Oilers have won 5 of 6 from the Jackets. They catch a Columbus crew that has lost 5 of 6 and is just 3-7 in their last 10. Columbus has also dropped 3 straight at home. Mathieu Garon may be back in net for Edmonton tonight if the Oilers know what's good for 'em, especially after Roloson was pretty average against the Flyers. Garon defeated Columbus twice last season, improving to 6-1-1 lifetime against the Jackets. When in a rut, go Canadian! That's what we hope breaks our skid tonight as Edmonton looks to continue its dominance over Columbus.
