Ah the losing streak is in full effect, two straight. 8-5 now on the year. What an OBAMAnation. Couldn't resist. Tonight we vote winner, winner chicken dinner or probably just loss #3 in a row.
Coyotes/Flames UNDER 5.5 (-130 Bookmaker)
Holy crapola. That is an UNDER, right? Yep. When the puck fits, slam it. Phoenix has seen totals hit 5 goals or under in 8 of their last 10 and 5 straight. Calgary, 5 goals or less in 5 straight and 6 of the last 7. The Flames PK unit has helped keep the GAA down with no PP goals in 4 of the last 5 games and just 2 in the last 23 chances. The Phoenix PP is a middle of the pack group, so we shouldn't see more than one PP goal let in from that combo. On the other side, the Flames PP unit has tallied at least one goal in 9 of the last 10. The Phoenix PK unit has been stiff at time, allowing no PP goals in 5 of the last 10 and even better on the road, killing close to 90% of the PPs against. On the road, PHX is averaging just 2.25 goals per game while CAL is yielding 2.67. When these two teams met in October, the final was 4-1 Calgary with the 5th goal coming on an empty netter. Tonight looks like a similar set-up with Phoenix struggling to score a bit on the road. So let's get this SEXY UNDER & Wear out the bookies.
