    Can anyone point me towards good academic journals/papers on predictive models?
    Have access to most academic databases/journals. Have a decent understand of math/stats/economics so was i8nterested in reading anything that pertains to the sports betting markets. Whether its creating predictive models, effiency of betting market, or anything else, I would love it!

        Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports. Predictive modeling is not the focus, but there are a gazillion articles there helpful for modeling.

              Just Google around to find a few recent articles (like the SLOAN conference papers) to start and then scroll to the back the References at the end will list a million articles you can search for.
