while there is no holy grail... its all about data... gather as much historical data as you can and then cultivate your system to increase your success rate. One stat that I like to look at is the home court advantage...i've seen some serious win percentage at certain venues.

Did you know that two Division I teams have a home winning percentage of > 90 % over almost the last 10 years... that is usually a few extra points on the #.
