Anybody bet 2nd halves only?

Has anyone been only doing 2nd half bets, and how have/did you fare

During last college basketball season a good percentage of my bets came on second half team totals, was able to hit at about 56%. No where near a big enough sample size to tell if it will work long term though.

I usually put in a small bet for the game and then load heavy on the 2nd half I am about 60% for the last 2 weks I just did it tonight

I'm a prop nut. I play quarters and halfs. Early in the seasons the halfs are the way to go because you can see what your getting. Examples today I took Alabama LSU and Georgia in the 2nd halfs. Alabama was just killing Ark and it was apparent it would continue (Won) LSU the original game line was LSU -2 LSU at the half was -3 but they were down 11 which for the game put them at +8 great value (Won) Georgia same as Alabama was killing ASU and should have continued the 2nd half lost by 1/2 a yard.

i agree with what you see is what you get early on in the season, and in college football big teams sometimes slack in september then pick it up in october, and the september shockers go back to their regular state in october

I like 2nd half plays also, look for the flip flops, although it sure didn't pay off in the Jets/Chargers game.

I was also on the LSU 2nd half. I look for those also....being the fave down at the half. If the favorite has to cover the 2nd half spread to win I usually will put an extra unit on that one.

2nd half is how i do most of my damage you get to see how a teams playing what the tempo of the game is. 5 dimes offers 2nd half team totals I love it.

i wonder how i would have done previous years if i bet only 2nd halves for games i liked in nfl. and id hit the 2nd half only if it was going the way i thought it would, or if i think it should turn around based on if the capping i did still applies.

except if the 2nd half line was terrible, then i wouldnt take it

Lots of books that clone the screen religiously can't seem to keep up with second half bets and you can find good value.
